1. The author must be a follower of Jesus.
2. Their stories/poems must not show wrong things to be right.
3. Their stories/poems must be clean. Language: No cursing, and definitely no taking God's name in vain. Scenes: no inappropriate actions or references. Not exorbitant amounts of kissing, etc.
4. Pretty much any genre, but no horror.
5. The author must blog about writing, even if it is only occasionally. Please do not ask for your link to be added if you never blog about writing.
6. The author must be young, at this point, blogs should be written by 15-29 year olds. This may change in the future, but for now, I'd like to have a set limit on age. If you have a blog and you're older than 29, then please consider submitting your blog for the resources list. Please note that if I find a blog whose author does not explicitly say what their age is, but their blog's content is high enough quality, I may add it anyway.
Remember, whatever you write is seen by God. Even if you never show anyone else, God sees it. Would you be willing to show Jesus your novel? He sees it anyway.
*Please note that I reserve the right to exclude any blogs I do not feel would be beneficial to add to this site. Do not take it personally - it is about the site, not you. Thank you.*
Links to resources do not have to follow these particular criteria, because we can learn from people who are not Christians. However, if I feel that a certain blog or website has too many negatives (like foul language), I reserve the right to exclude it.
